Thanks for your quick reply.
Yes, I have just downloaded the latest version of the LR v2.0.625. I have a created and attached a diagnostic report after I tried to import the Chinese Curriculum again this morning. It just crashes and closes the LR program all together. There is no error message so there is no screen shoots that I can capture.

Hi, I'm having the same problem as Shen-Li. I've downloaded and installed LR and the English curriculum no problems but when I tried to import the Chinese curriculum it just keeps on crashing half way through. I didn't get any error messages or anything. Just closes down the program. I have downloaded the curriculum files again and tried on two different days. Still crashes! What do I do now?!!!
