the part i found  most enlightening of ISp was the early learning part...which covers almost half of the course..if u hv already read doman books...u mite not find it really helpful cos i felt the book taught better than at the course...the course does provide insights into parenting like to be a positive parent...ur communication with ur child..vision for ur child..sleep talk etc...
it all depends wht ur expections of the course are before u take up the course...generally they hv a preview of the course before the new course begins,,maybe u can attend that and decide...

In mumbai there is a course  called "Infant Siddhi Program"(ISP)..Its basically a parenting course with emphasis on early learning..they do teach about flashcard  method etc.. u can buy flashcards from them also.. there are many isp centres in mumbai..i think the website ins www.liyaisp.org..u can check it out

I hv bought the deluxe set of LR.  I downloaded the software and semester 1 from the CD.  I was even able to download semester 2 successfully (It was visible on the completion of the download)

however now when i start LR, only semester 1 appears in the drop down.  the contents of semester 2 are not visible.  i hv tried doing this twice with the same result.

pls help

Hey, i was at the expo yesterday..donno how i missed u guys there ....will the LR deluxe set available for sale there ? i can drop by again and pick it up...

We hv completed the whole set of YBCR DVD's..though my dd asks for it to be shown to her every day.

I hv been doing physical flash cards with her..however am  not able to be consistent with it...was thinking the next step would be definitely LR..however hv now being reading abt tweedlewink also...hv seen the trial version of LR and it seems gud..thou i dont knw much abt tweedlewink

Limited budget now forces me to choose b/w LR and tweedlewink..wht do u suggest ??

This is my first post here..though i hv been regularly reading all the forrum discussions.  It feels great to see all the wonderful progress that the kids have been making.

But then i would like to knw..how do these kids cope up later...i mean ur kid is able to read by the time hes 3...but after that whn he goes to a normal school..where he is taught alphabetically....will it not take the enthu out of him for learning...??cos hes already at a higher level than the other kids in his age group. will it not take away his interest as he isnt learning anything new...

Even i hv been itching to buy LR for my dd who is 19 month old..however i always end up getting these nagging thoughts .

please somebody clarify !
