My elder dd has started saxon 76. She was having problems with math at school, but seems to be fine with saxon ...Keeping my fingers crossed

Waiting to start my younger one on Saxon 54. She has just started doing addition equations and subtraction. Just the white board, marker pen and number line as Robert suggested

I differ on this. I have observed that the second and third siblings are faster learners( due to learning environments and patters being more set?)

I have read the links...Interesting read. The author actually says the first born or those born after a gap helped them become a genius. He reasons that those children spend more time with adults/access to adult books..

I enjoyed reading  the bobbsey twins  ages 8-9 thro12 , though can be enjoyed till much later. I just moved on to a different series

Seeing the Bobbsey twins series being recommended as part of RC reading, brought back memories.
I remember reading most of their adventures ias hard copies from our mobile library van( 'twas the 80's)
