I have tried the demo but I wonder why there isn't pronounciation! Why? My son who is 3 yr-old has undergone the steps of single words, couplets, phrases , simple sentences and books (from another flash cards system) which is a Cantonese version. But I want to teach him Mandarin now! What do you suggest on how or where to start from this program? And his sister who is 5 wants to use it , is it suitable for her too? To purchase this program , can we use the points? Thanks!

All people in Mainland China use simplified Chinese. And it's a trend to use simplified Chinese worldwide except Hong Kong. I am a Hongkonger. We use traditional Chinese. But some children in Hong Kong begin to learn simplified one which is not a current script in HK yet. It is not a question of hardness or easiness of whether to learn traditional or simplified, but a question of getting used to which one first. Once you get used to one kind, it's quite hard to learn another one unless you learn it earlier(childhood or younsters). So my suggestion is that which one you will often contact in your daily life or more chance you will see which script.
