Dear Rena, I send my prayers and best wishes to you and your family; I just came across this thread and wish to extend my condolences. Time has pass and although I know life will never be the same, I wonder how are you doing these days, how is your little girl doing and is there anything we could do to help?
I worry as I remember how I felt a few years ago when I had to take almost a 2 year break from homeschooling my daughter, although I never actually stopped - the quality of what I did and intensity was severely reduced as I was busy worrying and researching about colon cancer- my husband was diagnose stage 1. He is fine- better than ever but what I didnt see coming was me being extremely debilitated by the continuing state of stress i endured during those months, I didn't care for my self as I should have and I regret it now. I am back and strong - getting better every day
I want to encourage you to pls look after yourself - all the tips and suggestions expressed here are terrific, you should implement many of those therapies for yourself and your whole family, KL is absolutely right - we all should use these therapies and not to wait for a diagnosis to start bringing our bodies to the highest level of health we can afford.
I am amazed at the support offered here- I wish I would have shared my pain at the time but on the contrary I left without a word to anyone. not smart!
Hope you are doing well, will pray for your family
Gloria
