yes i can read! (slow    but i read!)
u used sign language with my son,
but since i had second baby, so many things happened  that i didn't had time for anything.
but now, even if i don't have time, my son will sit with his sister on the computer and teach her!
they learn and have fun together!
i'm so excited with  the little reader that i wait when the kids sleep so i can come download new words for them! (i'm downloading the arabic words now)

they also like playing in this site ("they like something special")

my name is talia, i was born in brqzil and moved to jordan at the age of 20. i learned arabic (the essential only), can read and write (a bit)
but still need the dictionarry to translate some words.

at home we only speak portugues, as my sister in law is brazilian.
i started writing arabic words (no pictures) in A4 papers to teach my nefew, he was only 2 years old. in ONE morning he learned 20 words (the easy ones we use daily, like mama baba, halib, sayara , tayara and things like that, but in arabic alphabet)
my uncle has been teaching primary school (for over 20 years)
he was amazed by how quickly my nefew learned the words in only one morning. i started teaching my kids now, both arabic and english (write one side in arabic and the other side in english)
it doesn't need to be on the computer, otherwise kids will be 24/7 on the computer! (we have to take turns here now!!!!)

we all loved little reader!
tamara gets really excited bcz she just started to talk, and now she can repeat the words.
tamer also loved it, he's in reception now and they started to learn letters and numbers. and for him, little reader is just like having 'home work"! :tongue2:
can we have the registration license plz!
