my son is 9.5 month old and has finished dot cards from 1 to 100 and addtion/subtraction/multiplication/division/series. All is done by paper-based red dot cards.It is time now to teach him numbers. Now I plan to switch to little math software. I got two questions:

1. I spoken mandarin to him in the past math sessions. so he can only associate the dots with spoken mandarin. Is there mandarin sound downloaded to little math? if no, will he be confused when he heard spoken english in LM?
2. which session should I start in LM as he already has foundation of red dots and equation.

I have a 8 months old son with DS. From day 1, I have started to use stimulation card to show him. I bought a set of red dot cards and chinese/english word flash cards, started to use dot cards since 3 months  and added chinese word cards to him since 4 months, then  English word cards since 5 months. The results seems pretty good so far. All the cards are whiteboard based.

I am interested in using little reader instead as it is more easy for the parents to prepare the materials. Now i got a question, it is not suggested to watch TV/computer for kids under 2 years by peds, it is not just not good for eyes, and also not good for baby's brain development.

however as far as I know, liltle reader is computer-based, shall i know your views on this? i am a bit concerned to use it as my son is only 8 months old.  thanks!

hi, laura, thanks for your great information, it really inspired me a lot! i am a mom to a 3 month baby boy with DS. I have read Doman's and shichida's book, and bough flashcard from internet. just wonder if you followed the teaching schedule for a typical kid for your daughter? I was told to show red dot card from 3 month, and add word card 1 month later? did you do the same? except flashcard method, i don't know anything else can help DS kids to improve...
