I am looking to buy the following for those who are done using them with your little ones: Your Baby Can Read deluxe edition Tweedlewink complete set volumes 1-12 Little Math semester 1+2
I have been doing Doman's picture bits for two weeks now. It is going ok. I am flashing one card 10x a day for about 2 seconds (say word, show card, when focuses on card say word again). My question is does it matter where I show these cards?
What I mean is do you have a routine where it is done in a certain setting (eg. in bedroom sitting in chair). I do not and am wondering if I am over thinking this or there is some logic to make it more structured. I was wondering if you could share whether you had a flash card routine or was done on the fly when you saw an opportunity. Thanks.
Thanks for this this thread. I was torn on if and when to start my daughter with math. She is only 4.5 months and we just started Doman 2 weeks ago. We haven't even gotten to the dot portion of the training. I think am going to stick with the dots. I've looked into the Shichida 65Math breakdown and I believe I can replicate this on my own.
I was so focused on the subject of math that I had tunnel vision of all the cool things I will be able to expose her to using math in everyday life. Thank you Korrale4kq for reminding me of thinking outside of the box. BTW, What is reading bear?
Hello. I am a first time mom to a four month old girl. I am just getting on board with right brain learning and the like. I feel like I am so far behind the curve in teaching her. I stumbled on this sight after reading a book by Doman. I ordered the flashcard kit and started doing more research which led me here. My plan is to follow the Doman flashcard schedule and then start LR immediately following. I am also looking into other educational tools. I have heard about Teedlewinks and Sparkabilities... Please give input to what used, liked, did not like. Thank you, Nicole
