BrillKids Software / Little Reader - General Discussion / My baby doesn't show interest in watching LR
|

Hi,
My 13 months old daughter doesn't show any interest in watching the LR lessons. I have started the LR when she was 4 months old but she has not been looking LR or even has been complaining when I play LR, since she was 8 months old. IS there any way to make her like LR? Is there any replacement for LR so that she can like it more?
Please share your experiences Thanks in Advance

I have started LM for my daughter since she was 4months old. She's 8 month and half now. I wonder how she could learn those numbers up to 100 as well as multiplication, addition, etc. Could you share your experience regarding this? any comment is appreciated as well.

The BrillKids Forum / BrillKids Announcements / Re: BrillKids Featured Parent: Tonya's Teaching Story

Hi Tonya,
Thank you for sharing your inspiring story Actually, I have started this journey with my 6 months old daughter, for two months. I'm teaching her English while it is not my native language. I'd like to teach her our own native language as well as another language. But I don't know how and when to start another language so that she won't be confused. Could you let me know about your experience and suggestions regarding that?
Thanks again, Arusha

EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child - Signing, Speaking, Languages / How to Manage Foreign Language Lessons
|

Hi,
I'd like to teach my baby Arabic as well. So, I'm downloading Arabic lessons (thanks to those sharing them) and importing them to LR. However, I wonder if there's a facility to make something like English curriculum from them. I mean, the english lessons are arranged wisely so that some old words are repeated in new lessons. Is there a way to make such courses from foreign languages too? I hope my Q is clear.

EARLY LEARNING / Early Learning - General Discussions / Watching TV is not Good so what about LR and LM?!
|

Hi,
I've lost all may hair by reading so many articles to find out if watching TV or teaching tools like LR are good for baby or not. Some experts believe that watching so many images changing rapidly is harmful for babies because their brain cannot process them and consequently they lose their concentration, which is so obvious when they go to school on the other hand, when I had a Q in my mind that how baby can process those images rapidly changing in LM/LR? I read an article stating that young babies are right brained so they can understand and learn rapidly changing images and sounds; isn't this against what experts says about TV? Actually, I've used LR for my baby, since she was 4 months old but those issues mentioned above really worries me.
Does anyone has any experience about this? Has anyone used LR/LM and haven's seen any concentration problem when her/his child is grown up?
