Thank you, Kezia!  We are having so much fun with this program.  My Down Syndrome son loves this and he is making progress with it--the format keeps his interest, as he never knows what will show up next on the screen!  Thanks again for your response.  I'll have to look around.  There are sure to be some great features that I have missed in my excitement to get started quickly.   Maybe I'll even find where to post our success stories.  With special needs, we celebrate every step of progress!

  Okay, I have a similar question about the program.  Under the LR family options, I added pictures and names.  Everything played very well.  Next, I added pictures and videos to the phonics (at) words.  The words and pronounciation will play, but the pictures/videos will not play.  Do you have any suggestions?  Thanks!

  Okay, a question from a newbie here...I just purchased the program, and I noticed that we are allowed to put it on two computers.  Is the iPad considered a computer, or could I put it on two laptops and still use the iPad?  Also, if I take the laptop out of town with me, will the BK programs still work?  If I understand correctly, it is installed on the laptop and will travel with it.  Also, I'm looking forward to downloading some icons that my kiddo will really enjoy--just can't wait to see progress!  Thanks!

My youngest child is Down Syndrome, and he is now 8 years old.  I heard about this program today and have spent the last few hours checking it out to see if it will help my little blessing learn reading and math.  He is reading some and he knows some numbers, but not anywhere near his capability. Since this program was really created for babies, I wondered if anyone had testimonies about how it helped their special needs children, also.  I am doing the free trial download to see if it will be helpful in our situation.
