My kids really like the magic school bus dvds. I also just pre ordered Liberty Kids for them on amazon. The complete set is $10 now. They watch dinosaur train sometimes. Those are the cartoons I let the kids watch. They have some educational dvds too.
Thanks for the info. I just ordered one. the 6-DVD one is so expensive and I was wondering what the difference is. BTW my DS also loves The Magic School Bus.
Nice. Thank you! It is time to get the French version for my DS!!!!!!! My son will go to school this fall and they offer French Immersion program. It will be great if he can get some exposure before we decide if we want to get in the french immersion program. now waiting for Spanish version~~~~~~
I just heard our school offers French Immersion Program from 1st grade and was wondering how to help my son get prepared ahead of time. He will be in kindergarten this September. This just comes on time!!! BTW will BK offer 10% off any time soon?
Thanks all. Some of the tips might help my 5-year-old too. He is not willing to clap all the time. At the very beginning, when I clapped I asked him to follow me he was reluctant. Now he always asks me to hold his hand and do it with him. If I don't do it, he just claps a few times then lies down telling me he is so tired. I will try these tips to see if he is motivated to do it all by himself.
I love all these videos!! I just purchased SM for my son and hope he will like it. I myself got inspired and want to learn it. Nikki in the first video made me laugh. How cute! He does sing solfege and I like his little guitar
Definitely, no brainer! I got LMs first for my 4-year-old and love it so much. Then I got LR and its Chinese package with confidence. I have to say LMs is the best. My son didn't get much from LR as other kids, unfortunately. Maybe due to his age. He found LR boring. I am thinking about skipping sessions for him now and using the files from the download library to see if we could still use LRs.
I speak Chinese but just got a license of LR today. Guess I am not eligible either. Otherwise I would love to take this responsibility. I am looking forward to seeing LR in other languages soon.
I believe most moms are just like me who got more confused every time by different opinions on this vaccinations topic. I didn't have other choice since my kid had to go to daycare which means we had to get him immuned before he could register for school. What I did after reading all kinds of info was to set my own rules-- 1) Try to delay vaccinations, eg half a year later than scheduled by the PD; 2) Don't let the kids take ANY vaccine when they don't feel well that day or those days. Kids don't lie. If they look tired or lose appetite etc, it means something is going on in their little body. It may not turn out to be a fever or something, but I won't take him to the doctor's for vaccination. Just wait. Get the vaccinations done later.
Dear Agnesdecham, hope it is not too late to ask for a coupon code. I would love to get the whole package of tweedlewink and/or wink from Right Brain. I am new to BK and bought LMs a couple of weeks ago. Now my 4.5 year old is going to take Lesson 20 (LMs) and he loves it! This makes me think I should get in more computer programs. I have been reading posts on the forum and was sad to find the RB coupon was gone. The RB products are expensive! I am debating if I should wait for a coupon to lower the total expense or go ahead and make the purchase before my son is too old for Tweedlewink. Please let me know if you still have a coupon.
