I used BabyPlus.
My daughter is now 2.5 years old. She was born with low oral motor tone. When breastfeeding she would latch on but not suck. She drooled copiously as an infant and still does a bit. She is also behind in her speech. She is finally starting to talk but not always clearly. She was 41 weeks when she was born. I don't know why she has low oral tone.
I can say that she is the friendliest baby and now toddler I've ever seen. She adapts very well to new people and situations. Even though she can't really talk she has a way of engaging people. She was in a daycare for awhile and did great. She was their little greeter and would greet the parents that were coming through to drop off their kids. She gives everyone hugs and is very confident. On several occasions I've met people because they know Ella - it blows my mind! Besides being friendly, she is a very confident little toddler. Also, she's a great eater. Loves her veggies and all kinds of healthy food.

Parents' Lounge / General Pregnancy / Re: Anyone did Hypnobabies or something similar for birth?

I used hypnobabies as my choice for labor management. It worked well for me but I also had: 1) A very supportive husband 2) Lots of practice starting at three months with my husband and 3) Two doulas (hired one but she was training another one so we got two for the price of one).
My birthing time was 16 hours from start to finish. I think it would've been even shorter (I was at 10cm for a long time) except for the cervical lip. I don't remember feeling pain so much as discomfort and tiredness. I would highly recommend it if you practice it as recommended. Besides preparing for your birthing time, it's very relaxing.
