Hi, I'm enjoying adding my own family's voice and images to existing folders as well as creating a couple of new subject folders. How, if possible, can I get them to play, aside from directly clicking on them. I'm enjoying the current lineup of what's already there but was wondering if there is a way once I've completed what's there, to reset the lessons or something so that the words/folders I've added with be included? Just curious.

Hi, I just bought Little Reader and we're having fun making it personal by adding my kids voices to words and our own pictures. I have a question about back up. I'm not sure how often or how necessary updates are but if/when they happen will it cause my changes to be lost, considering I'm not making a new module/folder but just adding and editing existing ones? (I did read that you can back up changes but I'm not sure if that was only if they are in a separate folder instead of mixed in with the current semester) Can someone please help me clarify this? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply! I am referring to the lessons. Can we delete or turn off from the master options certain beats (say we wanted to focus on 2 and 4 or every beat or whatever - this is during the clap along)?

Or say we didn't like a certain composer or instrument as much could we omit him from cycling through in the lessons or is that customization not available?

I also have a question about instruments. Say one does not feel like featuring a particular instrument (or composer) can that be altered too or can only some things be changed in little musician?

So, it seems like you can customize every area of little musician but I haven't figured out how to permanently turn off the cartoon character for clapping to the beat. Can anyone help me out?

I know this is too late to help you but maybe it will help someone else. I just wanted to say that my midwife (who happens to be my mother-in-law) came up with milk thistle for morning sickness and it got rid of it for me. I took the capsules but you could take tincture if you can't swallow anything. Hope it helps someone! I'm pregnant again and thinking maybe I should get some just to have on hand! I think it took a few days last time but you should get relief soon.The logic behind this is that the yucky feelings come from the body dealing with the pregnancy hormones and what deals with them particularly is the liver so since most of us don't have perfect diets our liver isn't perfect. Give it some help and it can deal with the hormones just fine! Good luck to all pregnant Mommies out there!

I think I would cut my kid off from seeing someone like that. You can remain courteous to the family but there is no need to put your little girl at risk. I would NOT feel comfortable with the things you mentioned.

I realize this feedback is too late but I just wanted to say well done! It's an awesome piece of work and I hope I can afford it.

But, anyhow, great job. I especially like the clear photos of the instruments and the animation of someone playing them, along with the instrument's actual sound. So much better than the music flashcards I show my son.

I think everything else you have is great and I love the VERY many different ways you approach the same thing. The color scheme for some of it (that red with that green) does look a little ugly to me - I'm not sure if such shades are used for a purpose I'm not aware of.

On a different matter I was thinking it would be awesome if you could come up with an "everything" program - reading, math, music and science (chemistry, physics, biology), mabye others (art anyone, color schemes and mixes etc). I've noticed that it seems more 'fun' when it's all mixed up instead of doing numbers repetitively. Also, if you mix music with it all (especially if you utilize the right brain learning relaxation music) it would make it even better. Also, I would like to see the use of more color as that helps memory. Last but not least some positive affirmations wouldn't go astray either.

In summary, great job, I just hope I can afford it!

PS. Others have mentioned too - I definitely would put something on the blank music page - maybe a synthesizer-type version of the music such as you can find on YouTube where you see the notes descending the screen before they hit the piano or maybe a high quality video of an orchestra performing the piece?
