Hi everybody! I have not written here for agesss!! I am a Spanish mother who has an almost bilingual daughter. I began with Little Reader and with other resources and I have got my reward now. Nuria, my daughter, is now 4 years and 3 months now. I want to get a good system to teach her German. That was my third language, well I studied it but I didn´t practise it a long time ago. Could anybody advise me a good dvd, set o anything to buy this summer please? I have seen some sets, but I don´t know if they are good. They are the same than three years ago. Thanks in advance.

EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child - Signing, Speaking, Languages / I am very proud of my LO

Hello everyone! I am very excited because my dream is coming true. My daughter is speaking two languages. I have been very consistent making use of my second language, and now my daughter is able to say sentences with because, some lies like cats say moo and so on. Sometimes I make up silly stories with the traditional beginning of Once upon a time, and now she is doing it as well. Unfortunately, I have no time to follow Little Reader and my little reader is not able to read like many children here, but she is able to identify a large of known words and words of people or things that she has never seen before. It is very funny when I write something to find in youtube and she is able to read: Maya the bee, Nursery rhymes.
I hope all of you have a very happy New Year 2015!!!

Mummy, mummy open the book, read, Story time.

EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child - Signing, Speaking, Languages / Re: Exchange Spanish/English vocabulary

1 Hello Ana! Thank you for your answer. Yes, we are on the same boat. Sometimes, doubts appear and this forum is an excellent tool in order to clarify our doubts. I always use the verb to tie for example in the sentence I tie my shoes", but in the case of a dog, I have found in the Internet the word strap which is used as noun, object used to tie the dog. Well, I am going to try to copy in my whiteboard the doubts that sometimes come my mind, later I will write here. In the same way, if someone needs help with Spanish, could write it over here. I would try to answer as soon as possible, or any another native Spanish speaker, what I did in the past.
Have a nice night.

Hello! I am trying to be here again. I am always very busy.
I cannot use LR again because my old computer was broken more than three or four months, My LO loved LR. I don´t remember it very well. The problem is that I have bought this computer and I would like to work with LR with my LO again, but I don´t know how. Please could anyone to say to me the way? Thank you in advance. I would not like to lose my money with the programme because my old ladtop stopped working.

EARLY LEARNING / Early Learning - General Discussions / Activities for a two year old LO

Hello everyone!!! Sorry, I have had a stressful and awful time, and I have not been able to write here anything a long time ago. Now I feel better, and now, today, I have some time because my LO is now my father-in-law´s house. It is my time to write here. Apart from this programme, learn to talk ... and other videos, I am trying to find the way to introduce the English language my LO. I am using for example a book that is helping me a lot: Amazing Adventures Sticker Book Peppa Pig. It has more than 100 stickers and she loves repeating words, take the stickers, change their places... She is using pencils, markers..., two little boards... Have you got any recommendation?
