EARLY LEARNING / Early Learning - General Discussions / Re: ABA Program for autism

I teach students with autism and there are heaps of resources out there. While I don't always buy, I get a lot of my ideas from Ebay ( search Autism or special needs under Ebay) There are some very creative clever and resourceful parents who subsidise their children's therapy by making resources to share. There are also heaps of books and software to buy. My students who are 7 especially love the "Bounce Spectrum" musical therapy CD and DVD 's. not sure of the address. Hope this helps.

Hello, A couple of excellent sites for Early Childhood is Priory Woods and Childcareland.(sorry not sure of the correct addresses) Priory Woods is a brilliant site with lots of music and animations. It is interactive with the user pressing a mouse or a switch to change the screen. There are also activities to drag the mouse to show numbers etc. It also has online stories. Childcareland is a wealth of ideas and tips. It has heaps of downloads ( worksheets and fantastic colourful resources)

Hi everyone, I actually discovered this wonderful site by following the links on ebay when I was looking to buy some reading resources and wow I am so glad I did. while I don't have young children I do have grandchildren one in Japan. It is brilliant that this site caters for different nationalities. As well I work with students with learning, behavioural and speech difficulties. This program makes learning so much fun and relevant to my students. They love the graphics and the variety. While it is only early days and I have yet to further explore. I know that this will be always be an integral part of my learning program.
Thankyou for providing this brilliant resource. Marie
