Hello, everything was so perfect before. I never had problem putting my son to bed. Recently, he refused to sleep on his own. He just want to sleep in my bed with me. So I started putting him in a hammock. Is works sometimes. My question is, is it safe to put babies in a hammock to sleep all night long?

Whenever I changed diaper, my baby also touch his private part becuase of curiosity. The first time he felt it, he was so surprise that his eyes were wild.

I was 27 when I had my baby boy.

My MIL drives me nuts. Just seeing her drives me nuts right away. I was so horrified when she asked me if I already feeding my baby solid food, my gosh! my baby was a month old that time. I told her not yet, maybe in 6 months. And she gave this side comment, that everything has changed!   

Thanks for sharing Kimba15. This topic really caught my attention. I am planning to raise my baby as bilingual. So this is a good advice. My olnly challenge is that, its hard for me to speak my native tongue now. I have been here in the USA for two years and I rarely talk my language anymore. But I always try. Whenever I catch myself talking in English, I would try to switch to Filipino again.

Hi KL! Thats a good idea, my son doesnt have sibling so I should engineer some competition for my son. I have 5 siblings and I grew up competing which made me tough. I want my son to become competetive too!

Oh my! Nhockaday and momtomany, thanks so much for the advice. I will keep this in mind. I am so glad we have this community or support group. I am the only one here and I don't know anyone in this place. parenting is kinda difficult for me.

You guys are the rockstar! I always admire mom who breastfed their babies. It's always the best decision on raising a kid. I tried and tried but my milk never came in. I quit on my 3rd month. I had been pumping and feeding most of the time while I was on maternity leave. But when I came back for work, I know I could pump or breastfeed as much as I like. So I decided to just quit trying. Maybe on my second baby, I completely dish the formula!

Hi Everyone, guess what, I haven't experience any tantrum from my baby becuase he is only 6 month old. I am kinda looking forward for it. I think its fun and I think I am gonna be a bad mom becuase I know I am gonna spoil my baby. I wanna give him everything he wants and gonna say yes to all the request.    As the youngest child in the family, I never have experience raising or being with a toddler. Kids at young age doesn't know the meaning of NO. They don't mean to defy you, its just that they don't know the consequence of their actions. Everyone is right here, as a mom, all we have to do is just be consistent at all time. We are here to guide them so its important to keep them in line.
