Gloria,
I am happy, don't worry!
I used to believe in Law Of Attraction, and I know my happiness will draw us together.
I do have positive image about it. No matter how, I believe that I can work for it!
I will start to think out of the box, thanks!

I do agreed with you, bluebell.

Many parents have forgotten "Failure is the mother of succeed". The kids are still very small, they are able to learn a lot from their mistakes, why not we never let them try? We need to observe and teach them once you know they had done wrong. We should not mould them into what we want.
Do keep it up, parents!

Oh Gloria, once again, you surprised me! Learn from the EAST??

Actually it's not easy to be a consultant since I still consider myself very "fresh"!
May be I just be able to share with you guys if anything you would like to know about early enrichment.

Oh Gloria! that's really surprised me! I thought early learning is very popular in big countries like US, Japan, UK etc.

Do you support in early learning or early enrichment?
36  Local Support Groups / General Discussions / Re: Anybody using/familiar with 中華字經 program used in KinderU? on: September 29, 2009, 03:02:41 PM
Hi, I am from Malaysia actually. I came across to know about this since long time ago in Malaysia.
There are quite a number of centres are practicing this and I do have some of my students who have been sent over to these centres and seemed it works. As they are actually come from English medium speaking family, but through this program, they will be able to read the 中華字經 (but unable to understand much) and in fast speed which we believe this fast speed will be able to activate their right brain.
Usually the class will only accept the kids from 3 years and above here.

This is just a little information I know about it. Hopefully it helps and hope that other parents may share their experience here, thanks.

Dear all,
Just would like to know, is it easier to find a job in this early learning field in US?

I am a Malaysian, here in Malaysia, we do have a lot but not many needed a graduate and the pay also not that high, but the boss's profit is very high...sad.... confused
38  Local Support Groups / General Discussions / Re: Tweedle Wink or Wink in US? on: September 29, 2009, 07:16:41 AM
Thanks.
I am from Malaysia and actually here in Malaysia we did have the school but it was terminated. As from the link that you given, I think some of the materials are different with us here.
Anyway, does any mummy attending the school over there? Would you mind to share?

I hope that what I've learn will be able to help some others here.
40  Local Support Groups / General Discussions / Re: BB 是否能學習多國語言? on: September 28, 2009, 12:19:22 PM
Hi Everyone,
I just came across to your discussion. Please don't mind I would like to share a bit,

I studied Language Translation and Interpretation in Uni. From my prof, she told us, our brain is so intelligent. We do have different storage for different languages. Just like the library, one row for Mandarin, one row for English etc. So, the language row will pop up when it detected.

Actually a kid can learn multi-languages during their childhood or more accurate is before the puberty period, but then please bear in mind, it doesn't mean that you can speak with him in different language in a sentence. Like some of you said, my in-law talks to him in Cantonese, I talked to him in Mandarin or so. So, you have to keep this. By the time he knows how to express, he will definitely will speak and answer you with the correct language. Like, he will speak Cantonese when he talks to your in-law, then speak Mandarin when to talk you.
What's why if you speak few languages in a sentence? Yup, the problem is we have different grammar structure in different languages. So, if the child used to be like this, then end up, he can't give you a proper sentence. That's simple.

hope that this little knowledge will help, thanks.

Hello everyone! SO glad to know about this site
I come across this site is because someone recommended and keep telling me that it's great to read the info here. Yeah, and I do agreed after I browsed through some.
Anyway, just a brief introduction from me.
I am neither having a baby nor married. Just that I have been involved in this early childhood line since year 2005 and I do really interested in this line, that's why it lead me to here.
There is a lot for me to learn. Other than books, mentor, colleagues and teachers. I do would like to learn from parents like you all and the kids.
Thanks!
