Wow! That is SO CUTE! I love it! I recommend this site beestar. It offers many free PDF downloads for test and exam papers with answers etc. I like the simple presentation: text has nice simple fonts the pictures and graphs are to the point not distracting... Lisa

We've been using beestar for extra online reading. I like the simple presentation: text has nice simple fonts, the pictures and graphs are to the point not distracting and stories are interesting. The honor roll, ranking, award programs are effective. DD always can't wait to do the exercises. Lisa

EARLY LEARNING / Homeschooling / Re: Know of any strong Language Arts Curriculums

I am homeschooling my daughter. So far she is getting better at reading. I want a strong English curriculum for her. Would anybody know and have experience with any. I understand some parents make their own curriculum, that would not work for me especially with English. If anyone has suggestions. She is 4 years old right now.
Thanks,
I have no idea whether it is strong enough... My daughter has been using beestar for ELA. The ELA text selection is excellent. DD rather does 9 hours of the worksheets than watch 1 minute of t.v. Lisa

There are lots of choices online. As far as I know, there are kumon, T4L, Singapore math... We has been using online math, too. I registered my daughter on beestar. It's for elementary and high school. Programs are full of all real life word problems, challenging stuff to help kids thinking. Worksheets are timed and scored. Plus, math is free for any grade. What a deal! Lisa

We use beestar. It combines all the syllabus from all over... The math program is especially smart. My child loves and supports it. She'd rather do 9 hours of beestar than watch 1 minute of t.v. I think it is nice and easy to use. Lisa

For math programs, I don't they are the more the better...I think two is the best, one for ordinary-day practice and the other for weekend review. My daughter is currently using only one math program beestar. It's helpful. There are two worksheets per week, so I help DD review school work everyday and DD does the practices at weekend. I am still looking for the ordinary one... Lisa
