Hi Kezia. The version I have is 2.0.686
I've attached the screen shot for the email I received about the free trail version, after having tried to Download the new version. I've also attached the screen shot of the crash details. Details: each time I go into advance play/edit I am notified with a crash.

BrillKids Software / Tech Support / Problems with Little Reader

Hi I'm having problems with Little Reader that I hope can be fixed. Firstly, files are not working when we try to play them. I have re installed the Semester 2 content and did some other thing which was recomended- both these attempts failed. As well as that, when I open the Advanced Play/Edit, we get a crash notice. I am then asked to send an error report and it does not go through. When I open Little Reader, I'm asked to Download a new version- I tried to do that and am notified that I am about to recieve the free trial version... I dont need a freee trail version,I already own Little Reader and just want to upgrade it...Help would be appreciated.

Hi Kezia. Thanks for the quick reply. So, I'm just wondering though- if im to use up the second option of my lisence key on my husbands computer and then we decide just to toss both lap tops and get a new one... would this mean I would no longer be able to use Little Reader unless I bought a whole new program?

BrillKids Software / Tech Support / Computer won't turn on...

Hi. My lap top will not turn on and I cannot get it fixed right now. I still have my husbands lap top, although his needs fixed too (no volume). The volume issue isnt huge, as long as we can see the Little Reader I can just read out loud the words. Little Reader is only on my lap top though. Can I install it on my husbands computer without using up the lisence key? My daughter was JUST about to start semester two and I would love to continue on without a huge gap between semesters.
Help is apprectiated.

EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child Math / Re: Printable dot flash cards
|
on: September 14, 2011, 08:49:49 PM

Hi, about the printable dot flash cards- the downloads on this website- will they come out on the 8" by 11" paper? In Glen Doman's book he says to use 11" by 11" paper... I couldn't find any, but, found 11" by 17" paper... Does anyone know how I can adjust the picture to print in an area of approx 11 by 11 inches without and thing messing up (ex, the dots being streched)
Help is appreciated

EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child Math / Glen Doman Method- Questions
|
on: August 25, 2011, 02:23:01 PM

Hi, Hopefully someone can give me some help. In Glen Domans book on how to teach your baby math, he says that we would begin to show the child dot cards from 1-100 and after that there is no need to show then more (for the quantity regontion aspect) however, he says that after 1-20, you start to show them equations... well then what happened to showing them dot cards up to 100...? Again, in regards to quantity regonition, he says to have two sets of cards, 1-5 and 6-10, showing them each three times a day. And after some day, then begin to shuffle hem together and still have 6 sessions daily??? My qestion in regards to this is can I just have three essions a day for this and show her 10 cards at once? I hope what Im saying makes sense... And... Where do find the sitckers?? I would like it, too, if I could find a variety of stickers...
Thanks, Brittany

assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah.
Thanks for the link. I belive that it is only unrealistic when staring in the face of a society with widesperead images. I am aware that there is a difference of opinion over the teaching of children with images and I have yet to look very far into it as I haven't found any fatawa yet. (If you know of any, please link meee). But, when it comes to cartoons for entertainment I am really reluctant to believe that it is permissible. There are links available for Islamic materials that do not contain facial features. In my opionion I belive that having as little images in the house as possible is the best way to go.
