Dear Parents,

We are fighting for our rights. Please give your hands to support us. Below is the link and reply to Hellene for your quick reference.

http://www.softmozart.com/forum/scientific-publications/19460-softmozart-perpetual-license-what-happened-to-this-teaching-organization.html#26767

Dear Hellene,

I can’t understand why are you diverting this topic. We always respect you and your words. That is the reason we accepted in 2015 when you say there is no more perpetual copy and will receive your software extension every year without any fee. Now we are looking for you to respect your words as you promised. Few clips for everyone's understanding.

We all accept you are the Author of this program and doing online business for selling your product / method. We are expecting you to follow the business ethics too. You have full rights to set the rules and regulation for the new customers. What is stopping you to give the perpetual copy / license for the existing one as agreed and committed by you. We started paying from 2012 for receive our package / license as agreed. Are you trying to give this message “I am not going to give you anything” to all parents / customers? Can you please let everyone in this forum to know the concrete reason why we won’t get anything from you? Don’t think we are asking it for free. This is our rights to ask for the package towards amount which we paid and deal agreed by you.

Do you think this the professional way of doing business / answering to the parents / customer? As a respective author and seller of this product you would have provide us permanent license if there is no perpetual copy in place. This can be done by the programmer very easily. However as on July 28th, 2017 you are ready to give copy for $699 and giving contradicting statement in open forum and asking me to learn to respect.

Yes we were received scholarship discount for participating in this community as well as in Brillkids forum for help other parents and in other words promoting SoftMozart too.

We are not rich enough to spend lot of money. However still if you have any concern, as we already paid even now we are ready to bear the 50% of extra amount $350 which you are asking for from $699 towards permanent license.

Always we are respecting you and expecting the justice from you…

Thanks
Vijay…

Dear Parents,

We have posted our concern in SoftMozart forum. And got response from Hellene stating "I am not going to give you anything. Learn to respect authors and their time.". Please find the forum link and reply from Hellene for your quick reference. We can't understand what is the problem in providing the package as agreed. What is stopping her.

We are helpless and looking all your support to get our license. Please post your thoughts / suggestion in this forum as well as in SoftMozart forum link below. It will help us as well as other parents who wants support from you all.

http://www.softmozart.com/forum/scientific-publications/19460-softmozart-perpetual-license-what-happened-to-this-teaching-organization.html

------------------
Dear Vijay,

I am the author of Soft Mozart. There is no 'organization'. There is no 'big daddies' that support my Method with thick pockets.

There are volunteers and dedicated learners. They spend time and efforts to help my Method to spread. A lot of time and a lot of efforts. This is exactly how it works out here.

The Method is the best in the world with outstanding results that no school can replicate. This is exactly why we all believe in it and keep working day and night to keep it going.

You were not 'cheated' of anything and not 'blocked' from anywhere. You wrote to me that you have problems signing and I fixed that for you. You were given your scholarship discounts for participating in this community and helping other parents. You didn't follow, but were receiving your scholarships anyway.

I am the Author. My time is limited. The perpetual was meant to be for computers and technology that is already gone long ago.

You know? It is hard to be only person responsible for everything/ However, it has some advantage.

I am not going to give you anything. Learn to respect authors and their time.

Sincerely Yours,
Hellene Hiner

5  Products Marketplace / Product Discussions and Reviews / SoftMozart Perpetual License - What happened to this Teaching Organization? on: August 05, 2017, 01:45:12 AM
Dear Parents,

Our SoftMozart journey started from Brillkids forum. We are looking for the justice with respect to the purchase of a perpetual copy of SoftMozart which was promised by Hellene Hiner. We bought a softmozart subscription / installment package on Feb. 3, 2012 per the deal $499 promised through email as well as in the SoftMozart forum (Hellene Hiner’s Blog link below) for the perpetual copy.

http://www.softmozart.com/index.php/forum/20-hellene-hiners-blog/1377-new-prices.html  - In this link it states:

As for all of our existing customers, for helping us spread the word about “The Soft Way to Mozart”® and for being helpful in the forum, we are offering renewals at the following discounted rate. *In addition, some of you will be candidates for discounted or even free program renewal as it was initially advertised*:
• 6 months = $99
• 12 months = $149
• Perpetual = $499

You can still purchase the program now at the discounted rate, available until the rate changes on February 15, 2012.

In the link below you can see the replies to various emails where she assured customers that they would get perpetual copies at a fixed rate.

http://www.softmozart.com/forum/20-hellene-hiner-s-blog/1377-new-prices.html?start=12 Below is a typical response to questions:

hellene replied the topic: Re: New prices
mayri3838 wrote: Oh, I just got the 6 month version and would like to see if it works for my son. I plan to buy the Perpetual copy after 6 month. So, I have no choice that have to pay 699 after that? Pretty sad...

Mayri, Manda is absolutely right!
Also, if you already got the program or someone who is going to buy it before 15th of February are locked at $499 deal.
Therefore, if you would like to buy the perpetual copy, it will be $499 - $ amount that you had paid for the 6 months subscription.

When we were in the last installment in 2015 and ready to pay, Hellene told us there would be no more perpetual license copy and stated we will be getting the extension every year without any fee. Detailed mail attached in this blog. We conveyed our disappointment, but we accepted the change because we respected Hellen’s words. Now, in 2017 when we asked for the extension, they replied that we are asking for the extension free of cost and stated Hellene is not a slave to you for providing the extension for free ongoing; however, this was the agreement at the time the purchase was concluded.

I would like to note that we are not looking for life time free extension; what we really would like is the perpetual license that was agreed upon at the time of purchase. It is Hellene who decided we would receive extension for life in lieu of the perpetual license for which we paid. We have all the email communication / deal agreed by Hellene. We shared those emails with Hellene in case she might have forgotten the promise; however now it appears the organization wants to cheat us by asking for $699 extra to get the perpetual copy (attached a few emails here for all your reference).

If a perpetual copy is available at any price, why didn't we receive in the first place as per our purchase agreement.

We are willing to continue to pay the scholarship amount of $150 for the performance video shared during current periods of time. And in addition to that, we are willing to continue to give a $50 donation as we have in the past. But now, we are not getting any response and our SoftMozart forum login is blocked. What happened to the professional organization created to teach music? It seems it has been replaced by one that is only money conscious and willing to cheat customers to get it.

We are looking all your support to get our perpetual copy / permanent license which we can use whenever possible. We don’t want to stick with their teaching method. We need the package that was agreed upon when we first signed up for that deal.

Thanks,
Vijay...

Thanks Parents,

7  EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child Music / 3.8 Yrs Old & Nutcrackers from SoftMozart on: May 12, 2013, 04:52:33 PM
Hi Parents,

We would like to share few video’s which has played by my son Shanthosh Sivam 3.8 Yrs old little boy from the SoftMozart Nutcrackers.

Really we were not aware of H (Hide option) in SoftMozart. We came to know about this option 10 days before only. It is really very useful option. Earlier we use to play few small songs from memory as a free play method and we struggled to play big songs from memory. Even though he tries to play these songs we were not sure whether he is playing correctly.

Now we came to know that he is playing most of the small and big songs from the memory using the hide option correctly. Today we tried to play Nutcrackers and Fuer Elise songs by memory (hide) and he played 80 to 90% correctly. It is really amazing to us. We were worried before whether we can make him to memories. Now SoftMozart did it in a very easy way. Thanks Hellene for this option.

Songs from Nutcrackers:

8  EARLY LEARNING / Early Learning - General Discussions / Re: Where have all the Big Kids Gone? on: February 21, 2013, 01:42:23 PM
Thank you for giving an opportunity to share about my son Shanthosh Sivam. He is 3.5 years old. Most of the forum members don’t know about him. Because we are not active in the forum. But we are active in early learning. I would like to share his skills:

READING:

He started to read at the age of 1 year and he learned phonetics at 1.5 years old. He was able to read very big words at the age of 1.9 Years. He was
awarded for that from famous school at the age of 2 years when we went for ask admission formalities. Now he is able to read languages English, Tamil, Hindi, Chinese and also Music. He is a fast learner. He was taken just a month to learn a language to read.

MATHEMATICS:

Initially he was struggled lot to do Math. But now he is doing 3rd grade level mathematics. He can do addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. He can do mental math also. Now we got admission in UC Mas center and started to learn abacus. Now mathematics is his favorite subject.

WRITING:

It is amazing to say that in his age of 2.3 years he learns to write words himself. In the age of 2.5 years he started writing small and big words himself using phonetics. I didn’t get change to hold his hand and thought him to write. He started trying to overwrite letters in the flash card and learned himself. When he was at 2.9 years old all our friends and neighbors come and ask him to write their name. He writes and enjoy it lot.

MUSIC:

Music is his life. He loves it lot. He always likes to play difficult and big songs in SoftMozart. He is able to play more than 50 songs (mostly big songs) in SoftMozart. He is able to do site reading. He can read music notation very fast.

EAR TRAINING:

Within 11 months of Music journey his ear got trained very well. He is able to translate all Film songs, Tune Toddler, Mobile ring tones, Siren sound, Bike horn sound even humming etc. He can translate whatever he hears. He can recognize the sounds of whole Piano (88 Keys) and other than that he can translate more than 45 instrumental sounds individually from the music keyboard. He can recognize all the piano chord.

ENCYCLOPEDIA:

He has very good knowledge in encyclopedia.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:

  • He is doing scatting nicely.
He is learning to balance Bicycle.
He started doing some small physical exercises.
He started learning small and basic steps movement in dance in house.

GOOD HABIT:

Now he is learning good habit. We could see very good progress in that. He is doing all helps to me if I ask. He plays with his toys and put back properly. One amazing character is when we take him to our friends house he start play with their toys and at the time of leaving he immediately hand over all the toys to them and run towards to us. They ask him to keep that with him but he won’t.

Thanks once again for giving this opportunities…

Jothi…
9  EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child Music / Re: 3.5 years old Shanthosh Sivam Playing Piano on: February 15, 2013, 01:23:20 PM
Thanks Arvi and Iris. We are not sending him to any tutor class. We just followed the instruction only from the SoftMozart. Initially we thought only five fingers exercise. Going forward he himself learned the convenient figure while playing the piano. Please refer the SoftMozart vedio link for teach the Piano for your kid. That will give you lot of ideas and clarification. And you can post your query over there. Sure Hellene will help you to understand better.

11  EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child Music / Re: Video updates of Ella's violin progress :-) on: February 13, 2013, 04:34:45 AM
You are amazing Ella. My self and my son Shanthosh Sivam saw your video and enjoyed lot. We didn’t expect, you will play Violin amazingly in addition to that with dance performance. My son enjoyed lot and sang the notes of the video Ella played. Your level of achievement is always very high and superb. No words to say that.

Angel, Ella is a gifted child for you and you are a gifted mother to her. We were impressed the Ella’s 31st month piano video and got disturbed lot. You are the key source for us to start the piano journey. Now again we disturbed with Ella’s Violin performance.

We wish to see more performance from Ella and little angel Julia LOL

13  EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child Music / Re: My Son 2.8 Yrs Old Now Playing Piano and Identifying Piano Key Sounds on: July 24, 2012, 05:13:40 PM
Thanks Everyone...

I am very happy to convey my son Shanthosh is now playing lot of new songs well in SoftMozart. One more important thing is he has memorized each and every individual sounds in Piano. Yes he has memorized whole Piano (88 keys). The very first and last key of the piano sound is very difficult to differentiate and memorize. But he did it. His music sense is growing amazingly.

Now we are waiting to buy Little Musician from our local distributors in India. We are very happy to see few posts from India.

Tanvi…Initially we confused lot about Do Re Mi So and Sa Re Gha Ma…but that is very simple when we  use Do Re Mi So picture blindly as Sa Re Gha Ma. Babies are like clay. You can insert anything in their mind very easily. Do you know one thing now Shanthosh understand Do Re Mi pictures and letters and C D E F G and also our Sa Re Gha Ma. I though him only one solfege and he related everything along with that. We can’t stop their understanding. Don’t get panic just start like that. It will help you to understand and teach music to your child in better way.
Pearl_river…Sorry for the delay reply. We bought only SoftMozart along with stickers. We use to stick the songs notes in walls to get familiarize notes in such a way to Do Re Mi , C D E F or Sa Re Gha Ma. We use to sing the song music notes where ever possible. Please try this for better result.

Vanjain…We bought SoftMozart program from On Line only. There are no local distributors in India.

Thanks Jane...

There is no time or schedule we followed for teach the piano. Because he is very small and naughty boy. So depends on his interest we will teach piano. If he is not showing interest I will start play the piano using the SM. During that time he can hear that sound and understand quickly. This is our success to create more interest to play piano in each and every moment of his life. Now we are giving more attention to maintain the same level further.
