I love the ideas here. I especially like the idea with the bingo. On the next baby shower I will definitely suggest to play baby shower bingo. The last time I have been to a baby shower I brought some gifts for the baby and additionally a huge hamper for her. She absolutely loved it.

You really have to work hard and stay focused as after pregnancy, that could really spell what you are going to be for the years to come. And your focus would be the driving thing that would let you stay on track or slide off it.

Well, tolerance differs among babies and what works for one might not work for you so I think that you have to try things out.  I think that the best thing to do is, from now, avoid keeping too much silent while the baby is sleeping.  It really could just be what she grew up with so sudden noise, can really take its toll. And I am telling you, if you do not find a way to remedy that problem, you are going to suffer in the long run. It is sometimes good just to let them experience what it is really like.

As long as you keep it to baby channels like playhouse disney, then it will surely be of help.  They really catch their attention, especially those shows with a lot of colors and variety of sounds. 

I think that much of what my baby learned was from watching those cartoons as I could see her really focus there and move to the sound of music which was amazing.

Though you have to limit the exposure and keep it a point to stay from a proper distance so as not to strain the eyes.

The best part is, you kept in and not chose to go down the path of what could have been destruction.  I have a friend who went through the same thing and the hardest part was breaking it to whoever who you are holding on to.  And the worst thing that could happen is to carry someone that you are going to regret and hold grudge against for the rest of your life.

Top to that, you have another baby that needs taking care of, so it would definitely be a challenge.

Well, if the baby comes out, you do not have that much control over who goes in and out.  You could probably settle it down and talk things out to avoid stress when the day comes as the last thing you would want to handle is shooing a lot of people away who just came there to celebrate. So you have to tell them why and how things are going to be.  It would not be easy but they would be really excited so we could not do much about that, really.
