And with one quarter of the season behind us, it appears Pro Football Focus agrees. On Friday they dropped their third receiving corps rankings of the 2018 season. Earlier this year, PFF ranked the NFL’s receiving corps at the end of May, and once again prior to the preseason. All three of these articles were written by different PFF staffers, and both of the earlier rankings appeared to include tight ends or running backs as part of their “corps” definition. The only mention of “tight end” in this most recent ranking is that it’s the 49ers best pass-catching option (insert evil laughter).
