Pictures of dinosaurs came from a mobile bought at Business Depot for $3.95 CDN.
Resources for information came from "The Ultimate Book of Dinosaurs" and www.enchantedlearning.com.

This information is organized in a fashion which is suitable for creating Programs of Intelligence for the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potentials method of teaching babies encyclopedic knowledge.

TYRANNOSAURUS REX

1. Tyrannosaurus Rex was a bipedal carnivore.
2. Tyrannosaurus Rex had enormous teeth, a powerful jaw, and a large brain.
3. Tyrannosaurus Rex lived during the late Cretaceous period, about 70 million years ago.
4. Tyrannosaurus Rex lived in the regions which are now known as North America and Asia.
5. Tyrannosaurus Rex means "tyrant lizard".
6. Tyrannosaurus Rex is of the order Saurischia ("lizard-hipped").
7. Tyrannosaurus Rex was 12 meters long.
8. Tyrannosaurus Rex weighed 8 tonnes.
9. The skeleton of Tyrannosaurus Rex was first discovered in Montana in 1908.
10. Tyrannosaurus Rex was the largest predator ever to walk the Earth.


STEGOSAURUS

1. Stegosaurus was a quadrupedal herbivore.
2. Stegosaurus had bony plates on its back and a horned tail.
3. Stegosaurus lived during the early Cretaceous period, about 140 million years ago.
4. Stegosaurus lived in the region which is now known as North America.
5. Stegosaurus means " roofed lizard".
6. Stegosaurus is of the order Ornithiscia ("bird-hipped").
7. Stegosaurus was 9 meters long.
8. Stegosaurus weighed 2 tonnes.
9. The skeleton of Stegosaurus was first discovered in the upland forests of North America in 1877.
10. Stegosaurus may have swallowed stones (called gastroliths) to help it digest food.
