don't worry, you're not by any means stupid, stupid people pretend to know everything and don't ask questions... I remembered reading somewhere about randomizing option for power point, but where? So I googled it and it looks like there is a 'add-in' you can download and install and it will randomize your slide show (it's a support for Powerpoint 2007). Check out
