A friend in my local homeschooling group shared this.  It's so cool.  Math is beautiful.

Tamsyn, I LOVE it! Thank you and karma to you for sharing. It is truly beautiful. What a great way to teach. I was even interested...I got to well past 144   I can't wait to show my class this one on the big screen! Bt even my big. Girls will find this interesting.

I showed this to my kids and went to have a shower. I got out and as I walked past they asked " hey mum how far does this go up to?" No idea hinny you don't have to watch it all you know. " ok I think that's enough then" I checked it later, they watched up to 10000 !!!! Crazy kids

Cayden has been mesmerized so I looked further into how this was created and found out about a book called You Can Count on Monsters
Here is a brief description and link if anyone else is interested

Mela Bala, thanks for the link to the book, it looks great!

I think you might be able to download these Little Reader factor dots from here
http://library.brillkids.com/download.php?cid=1&tid=5&lid=&fid=9333 by the looks of it, but maybe you'll have to wait for the category to be approved.

I've created Times Tables categories too, but didn't upload them yet because I'm having some Little Reader display issues and waiting for help from BrillKids.  The Times Tables categories display "12 x 12 = 144" as a word and then should display 5 jpeg files for the factor dots, "x" and "=" - but it's not working 100% and I don't know why.

I sorted the dots into categories by type, for instance primes, multiples, squares, but I'm not sharing them since all the dots cards I made are all ready in the uploaded category.
