A language is not learned overnight. Consistency matters. Everyday for half an hour builds great results over years. If you are consistent with setting your study times, your child will see language study as part of her normal routine. Children like routine.

Well i like your question.I had an experience with by brother's kid. He used a combination of techniques. the Kid was conversant with English and so he used to translate the English words into french. the child was loving it and he felt so engaged. with time the child learned some basics. He could spell and even write some words. He obtained materials online and complemented his skills. he made sure that the child memorised a few words before he went to sleep. After a few months the child had gained a lot of knowledge on French.

I just ask the kid to watch some videos and learn the different words using the dictionary.
