You will find foreign language DVD recommendations on the Teaching Other Languages board, however, when teaching a second language, the majority of DVD's do not teach READING in those languages. Little Reader is the most ideal program for that. After purchasing the kit from the forum store (green tab above) you can visit the "Little Reader Library" (on the left on the gray bar above) and download files in all kind of languages at no cost! When teaching a non-native language, I simply repeat the words along with my kids. it will take a bit longer to learn since you do not speak it fluently, but teaching a second language it is far easier for your child to learn than you might think! I was really intimidated to begin teaching a non-native language, once I got over that block it was much easier.
I also wanted to suggest finding a babysitter that speaks a language other than your native language (unless you already have family to help you with this.) That way, they can teach baby while you have a date night or outing, it's a win-win. They can help reinforce a second language. You can also look for immersion preschools in your area, but they typically do not teach *reading* this young, only speaking, so you'll still need to handle that part on your own.
