I am just getting started with a reading program for my daughter. After making about 50 cards on card stock(4.5"x11") I read Glenn Doman's book and realized my cards are too small. How important do you think the size is at this age? I am really not excited to buy so much posterboard and have to cut it all down to size if I'm really going to be making hundreds of these cards over the next year....

For little ones the bigger the better.
But you can make them about the size that I have in the ones I just recently made. They are no bigger than folding a piece of paper in half hamburger style.  I wouldn't go any smaller than that at the moment.
