Teaching a child to read in two different languages?

I am amazed at how well educated all of you are in literacy, so... I wanted to ask if it is confusing to a child to learn to read in 2 different languages at the same time.

I speak both English and Spanish at home but have been careful not to show "print" in spanish thinking that it way be confusing.  What are your experiences and thoughts on this?

If you are teaching your baby to read in two languages, you might as well get them a job! Look at http://freetexthost.com/zorhxz2zyd to establishwhat kind of a CV you'd like them to have, and work from that.  Use their brilliance

I have spoken two different languages English and Spanish and I love to spoke in Spanish.

Children who are brought up in bi-lingual homes often have separate times and activities for the 2 languages.

For example you may play with your child in Spanish, but speak English while you are feeding him.

Later he can have books and stories you can read in both languages. It is important in the beginning to have quite separate zones for the different languages.

Hello! I have noticed that learning little kids two languages is a normal thing.    I was brought up in an environment where children has to learn 2 languages since 1st grade. I was really tough as our parents spoke dialect with us while friends converse in English most of the time; English is the 1st language. Chinese was my 2nd language and were used only during Chinese classes. Thinking back it was pretty nightmarish whenever we were told of a language test and it got worse during examinations.
