Little Musician won't launch when executed from accountwith restricted permissions (User) on Windows XP, executed as Administrator works fine.
I adjusted permissions to RW for whole application folder with no luck
I only see LittleMusician.exe in process list but even no splash screen is visible. Dont see any logs in %temp% to analyse.

Hi Tashunya,

Each Windows user account in your computer needs to have complete access permissions to all your BrillKids software files (especially the "Data" folder). Perhaps you only adjusted permissions for the "Program Data" files?

Anyway, please refer to this article for complete instructions on how to change file permissions for all your BrillKids software files:

Thanks for suggestion. Before post question here I've changed folder permissions of c:\program files\brillkids and c:\windows\temp from Read only to Modify and that doesn't help.
By the way - windows xp doesn't have program data files nor C:\Users\AppData\ (as specified in bullet 3 of instruction you provided).

Any other adjustments to be performed? In registry...? Or other folders?

Hi Tashunya, sorry, the "C:\Users\AppData\" note for Windows XP users is indeed wrong. We'll make sure to correct that error in the article as soon as possible.

The correct path for XP is: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BrillKids

Kindly try modifying the permissions for the folder above and see if that helps. yes
