I just got the price list of Doman flascard cdrom set (10 volumes)... singapore $790. That sounds alot, when the set would be under $300 US from Doman himself.
Received the Baby Brain flashcards today. Excellent. The left brain part is the information at a slower pace, clearly pronounced. The Right brain is fast, with chipmunk voice to match. I learned heaps watching them once! The pictures are really good, clear, colourful... they show unusual colours and shapes. They are truly a bargain!!

I haven't been able to get a response from the baby brain people...any suggestions? I checked out the website and it says they are selling at Malyasian Borders, but when I checked my Borders here they don't have it. (I'm in the US). Any suggestions?

I buy US stuff all the time, and one of my Dvd players recognises them and I didnt buy it as a universal or multi-region, it was just a cheapie), and the laptop recognises overseas DVDs no problem. Just like my VCR recognises NTSC fine when we are PAL here... I just pop them in and they play!! I bought off Geraldine Goh, and the DVDs got here (Australia) pretty fast. So "region" is not a problem if you have a multi-region player or a computer! I didnt even bother to find out what format they were before ordering!

those without a multi-region player could read in Little reader general discussion, how to connect laptop to TV!!! Because computers seem to be universal DVD players.

I'm sure there was more info on here but I cant seem to find it... I think thye might have taken it off as spamming, yet if they want us to wite about helpful educational stuff naturally it will sound like spamming...

(just singapore but runs the babybrainflashcard website)
[EMAIL REMOVED FOR SPAM PROTECTION]
is international distributor, so prob will do diff region dvds
It's the best and cheapest dvd for reading/encyclopaedic knowledge/maths I've ever come across... and hopefully will bring the cost of other dvds by other peoploe down, because the couple of DVD sets I've bought previously have been total rip-off prices. (I call it like I see it)

Yes, she was spamming, and her posts were removed. She was not talking about education; she was talking about selling her product. This is not a store. There are warnings about spamming when you join. She was given more warnings and was asked to join the conversations instead of just trying to sell her wares.

Our apologies for this misunderstanding. We encourage people to review products here and even sell their wares, provided they do it discreetly with the PM function. This is primarily why we have the PM function, so that people who would like to transact directly may do so.
I would also like to talk about the GREAT RISK in directly posting email addresses in forums.
As I am sure, most of you have encountered places in our forums where we had to remove the email addresses in the posts. [if not, I will do so again now, and I will give you a reason why. For those of you who want to get the email addresses from Nikita, please send her a PM.]
Posting email addresses in forums "expose" these emails to Spam-bots:
for those of you who don't know, spam-bots are malicious internet scripts that take email addresses where they can and spam the owners of these email addresses by sending them dozens of junk mail.
I hope that you all understand why there is a need for us to delete the email addresses: it is because we would like to save your from these spam-bots, therefore it is for your own safety and protection.
So in case you would like to send someone or inform someone about a particular mail address(es) and any sensitive information, please use the PM function and just send that person a private message. Not only will you be protecting your data, but you will be helping others protect their data as well.

now see, Everyone talks about PMs but thats the first time anyone actually explained what it meant. I thought it must mean Post Message. I Actually dont know how to send a personal message, I didnt know it could be done except by moderators, until I actually got a personal message yesterday. As for the spambots, I figured that's what yahoo and gmail addresses were for! Not getting spam. To be honest it has been very time-consuming to me to be continually be asked where people can get this product from, as i've already said where, and then have had to say it again and again, and each time I have to go and waste time looking for that info as I dont have it in any easily accessible spot. I've mentioned the name of the product, and said... just google it and you'll find info and sellers.

Private Messages can be done by anyone who is a forum member, and is a very useful tool when you want to talk about something in private with someone else.
To learn more about Private Messaging, please see this link:
http://www.brillkids.com/support/personal-message.php
For any information you need about the forums, we do have a handy foruming guide. You can access our forum help simply by clicking on the HELP button on the top-right area of your page.
As for spam-bots, unfortunately they are known to harvest all types of email addresses, and it matters not whether they are private, a company email, hotmail, yahoo or gmail.
What they do is collect the data and spam them. Other mailboxes such as yahoo, hotmail, and gmail have set up some built-in software such as spam-blockers, but even these are not 100% efficient in detecting and deleting spam.
As an alternative to posting the email addresses, and if you do not want to get PMed, may we suggest posting website links?
These are 100% safe, and it will still enable you to usher people to the right direction.

I need to take a vacation from the family just so i can dedicate a good slab of time to learning all about Brillkids and how to use little reader, cos with the constant interruptions I face I cant remember anything. Tried to do my first upload last night. Failed!!!
Couldnt even work out how to add the words to the pictures I finally managed to put together in there.
