Computer won't turn on...

Hi.
My lap top will not turn on and I cannot get it fixed right now. I still have my husbands lap top, although his needs fixed too (no volume). The volume issue isnt huge, as long as we can see the Little Reader I can just read out loud the words. Little Reader is only on my lap top though. Can I install it on my husbands computer without using up the lisence key? My daughter was JUST about to start semester two and I would love to continue on without a huge gap between semesters.

Hi Brittany!

Yes, you may install and use Little Reader on your husband's laptop in the meantime -- kindly note that you will still need to use your license key, because if you don't you won't be able to access or play your Semester 1 or 2 lessons there.

If you've previously installed LR only on your own laptop before, you shouldn't have problems with doing the same for your husband's laptop since your license key does allow up to 2 software activations. For instructions on how to install LR in your husband's laptop, see:

Thanks for the quick reply. So, I'm just wondering though- if im to use up the second option of my lisence key on my husbands computer and then we decide just to toss both lap tops and get a new one... would this mean I would no longer be able to use Little Reader unless I bought a whole new program?

No, you don't need to purchase another LR (or a new license key). Since you intend to replace the computers where you've previously installed LR, you can simply delete your old activation records so you can reinstall and activate LR on your new computers. The same can be done in cases when you need to reformat any of your computers.
