Hi luchicarens,
If you want to remove a particular word (or more) from your premade curriculum, you can try the following:
1. Go to PLAY & EDIT > Categories.
2. Select the Category which includes the word(s) you want to remove.
3. From your selected Category's word list (middle box), select the unwanted word(s) then click the [X] button below the list (or just press Delete on your keyboard), then click YES from the confirmation prompt. Depending on how many words you're deleting, you may need to wait a couple or more seconds.
**If the word you want to delete also appears in the "Word Split," "Sight Words" and/or "Pattern Phonics" segments, make sure you delete that word from the corresponding set of categories too. You can click the little magnifying glass button in the upper right corner of the Category list box (or press Ctrl+F on your keyboard) to search for that word and find the categories where it appears.
4. Next, go to PLAY & EDIT > Courses and from the "Display" option, select Semester 1 then click on the [EDIT] button. If you own more than 1 language curriculum, make sure you select the Semester where the deleted word(s) are included.
5. In the Edit Course window, go to the "Session 1" > "Picture Flash" tab then un-check "Multisensory 1." Press [SAVE] (don't close the window yet!) then re-check "Multisensory 1" and pres [SAVE] again.
6. Close the Edit Course window and in the "Do you want to generate lessons now?" prompt, click YES.
7. Back in the PLAY & EDIT > Courses screen, select Semester 2 and repeat Steps 5-6.
Note that for Step 5 you can edit any setting you like (it doesn't have to be exactly what I mentioned above), as long as you can undo that particular change easily. The main reason why we need to do the edit/undo step is so you can manually re-generate your course, which will effectively remove the deleted word(s) from your semesters.
Once you've done the steps above, you can verify if the removed word no longer appears in the semester by doing a search within PLAY & EDIT > Courses (with either Semester 1 or 2 selected) by clicking the magnifying glass button or pressing Ctrl+F. If there are no search results found, that means the word was successfully removed from your semesters.
The deleted word(s) will go to "Trash" found at the bottom of the PLAY & EDIT > Categories list. In case you want to get the deleted word(s) back later on, just go to "Trash" > "Links of Words" tab, select the word(s) you want to retrieve, then click the [RESTORE] button in the lower right part of the screen. After restoring the deleted word(s), you need to do Steps 4-7 as described above to re-generate your semesters again.
You may also choose to delete all words from "Trash" but that will mean the words will be removed PERMANENTLY from your Little Reader library. The only way to restore those permanently-deleted words is to re-download your curriculum file (from your account page).
