Yes, I would definitely recommend that you upgrade to the latest version (right now it's v 2.0.706), but before proceeding with the upgrade, please make sure you saved a backup of all your personalized lessons (including the ones you downloaded from the Forum Library). To save your personalized lessons, simply use LR's Export function.

Regarding the playback statistics, we'd like to confirm that this data will be saved during the upgrade,
as long as you do not uninstall your current LR before trying to install v2.
