Can you also check your speaker volume (especially if you're using external speakers) and also the volume control found in the right side of your taskbar (near the date/time display)?
As you may know there's also a volume bar inside Little Reader, in the Play Courses and Play & Edit screens - by default in shouldn't be on mute or set to a low volume, but it may help to check that one too.
