Hi there again!
Anki recently updated to a beta version 2 RC6:
http://ankisrs.net/docs/dev/changes.html , and it is not working for me with regard to easily formatting the Arabic text. It requires some knowledge of coding, which is foreign to me, and the manual is less than clear.
SuperMemo 15 is easier to format, but a more difficult interface to learn:
http://supermemo.com/help/new15.htm , but is not available on cross-platforms and is more expensive.
I also recently discovered
http://www.mnemosyne-proj.org/ which is easier to use for a novice, such as myself, than the two above SRS, yet like the others, do not have printing capabilities. I will most likely use this SRS for the time-being.
I am again requesting that Brillkids create a SRS extension software for LR to grow with our children's learning. I also like this feature of the option of 3-sided cards, that are printable, such as:
http://www.flashcardexchange.com/.
All of the above SRS have multi-media options which should also be included.
After being frustrated with my search for an SRS for a few years for Arabic language studies for myself and my children, I have come to better appreciate and love the ease of using LR and hope that this project request will be given a priority status. Please let me know how I can help.
Thanks!
Ayesha
