Hi BEM, please make sure that you've installed the Little Reader software
before you click on your license key link.
The license key stored in your BrillKids Account also serves as a download link for your LR content - it's meant to download and import your content and license key automatically, but it will only work if you already have the software in your computer.
Since you mentioned that your new laptop is on Windows 8, do refer to this article for instructions on installing LR on a Windows 8 computer:
