Oh, sorry about the confusion
In the "Select Components" screen in the ffdshow setup window, by default the "ffdshow DirectShow filter" and "VFW interface" items should be selected. You can just leave those items as is and proceed to the next screens.
Next, in the "Select Additional Tasks" screen you will see a long list of items. Just make sure that from the leftmost column of boxes, the "Decode the following video formats with ffdshow" and "Decode the following audio formats with ffdshow" items are both checked/selected (no need to do anything with the rest of the boxes in this screen).
Lastly, in the "Speaker Setup" screen, simply select the one that's similar to your computer's speaker settings -- to check your computer's speaker settings:
- From your Start Menu, open your Control Panel (toggle the Category View)
- Go to "Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices"
- Click on "Sounds and Audio Devices" to open the "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties" window
Click "Install" in the next screen to install the codec, and when it's done you may go back to installing LR
I hope this finally answers your question, haha
