Is the 14-day Little Math trial NOT free?!

I wanted to try the Little Reader and Little Math before I buy them. I tried the Little Reader 14-day trial first and had no problem with the whole process. My DD and I have been using it everyday and she actually enjoys it more than YBCR.

Today, I ordered the 14-day trial for the Little Math. Similar to LR's 14-day trial, the sign up required me to put my credit card information. My whole understanding about the 14-day trial is that I will not be charged until after the 14-day trial period and if I do not cancel it before that day. But upon checking my bank account tonight, to my surprise there is a $25 charge from Kreative Land. I am assuming it is from Little Math because the monthly charge for Little Math is $25/mo.

Can anybody explain to me what is going on here? Has anyone else encountered this same problem?

I hope this can be resolved....because I really want to get the Lifetime Plan for both LM and LR. I am not rich, so I could really use that $25 towards paying for the monthly installment plan.

Hi,

Firstly, I do apologize for this, as it should not have happened, and we are talking with the payment agent about it.

From what they've told us so far, the amount has not been charged, but merely 'held', which would be either credited to us, or released after the trial period depending on whether you cancel or not.  In any event, that is not even how we intended it, and this was a miscommunication with the payment agent which is what we're trying to fix now.  Basically, they're not even meant to hold the amount, but only to verify the details are valid.  We hope to have this issue fixed over the next day or so, and all previously held amounts should get released, and none should ever get held again.

I checked my bank account early this morning again, and I did see the $25 credit.  I just kind of panicked because I am paying a lot of bills at this time, and I didn't want to get overdrawn over that. I am also happy to say that I will be purchasing the Lifetime Plan for both LM and LR today since I got my money back
