Another thing you can do to spend more wisely, is to buy fruits & veggies that are more likely to be heavily sprayed with chemicals organically. Others, for example carrots that grow below the ground & may not come in contact with as many chemicals can be bought non-organically.

Yes, it can be expensive. I got together with a few friends, registered as a business , & order through a wholesaler. We pay about the same as we would for non - organic foods at the grocery store!

I'm wondering if anyone else uses organic foods. I think it is so good for our lo's growing brains & bodies to eat healthy foods. Kay eats mostly organic foods - & breast milk of course!

I would not choose to have one myself. I know it is considered a safe procedure, but I prefer not to accept any treatments or medications that I don't feel are absolutely neccesary. Safe procedures can go wrong. Even safe/well tested drugs can proven to be unsafe later. I realize though, that I am in a minority in this respect & many, many, epidurals are done every day.
