Hi Kezia, appreciate your help to get the problem resolved. Issue is resolved after updated the sound driver. 

Currently, my LR is the latest and the content file for semester 1 & 2 are also the latest, I downloaded last week and installed few days back.

Actually there is no problem to the sound file, as it's working perfectly when I tried to play the sound file using windows media player.

Please help to provide a solution as currently I have to disable the auto-forward and hit the mouse or spacebar, at the same time I have to carry my kid as well so it's not an easy alternative to disable auto-forward.

Basically if I disabled the auto-forward then every words are pronounced properly, any solution I want to have auto-forward turned on? For your information, my machine is fairly new so computer shouldn't be the root cause.

I am having problem of no pronunciation for the subsequent words played in words flash, only the first word is pronounced. For your information, I have installed the codec as recommended and have gone through the analyze as well, but problem still persists.
