Unable to activate

Hi. I've been unable to activate this Beta version. I installed it the first time and activated successfully, however when reopening the program my activation was gone. I reinstalled the software two times to try and activate but I received an error that the activation code is in use. I have tried to delete my activation from my account (there has always been just one) but the error prevents activation each time. Please help, the new version seems worthwhile. Thanks.

We have recently uploaded a newer Beta build (just Tuesday of this week), can you kindly try downloading again (from your Account's BETA tab) and install this one instead?

The way activation works in LR 2.0 is like this: you will only be asked to enter your license key after you import your curriculum content files (if you have Semester 1 and 2, you will be asked right after importing one of your content files).

If you installed the Beta version as an upgrade from the LR 1.6 version you were using before (i.e., you did not uninstall LR before installing LR 2.0 Beta), you can try re-activating by opening LR 2.0 and going to Tools > Software Information. There you will find an area where your LR version and Content License Keys are displayed -- click on the button "Enter License Key" and type in or copy-paste your license key in the window that pops up.

I love the beta version. It's much more easier to customise. So far I see there only one problem with the audio files. I can hear only a part of the sentence before the next card appeared. (Windows 7)

Can you try the Audio wizard:
 - Go to the Support screen
 - Click on Support Tools and launch the Little Reader Support Tools (a smaller window will pop up)
 - Go to "Sound Problems?" and start the wizard

This tool will do the troubleshooting and the necessary fixes for you, and hopefully it will get fixed!

If the problem persists, you may also try re-downloading and installing LR. We uploaded a newer build just last night, and you will notice that everything in your Account page's LR tab now contains LR 2.0 downloads.

Again, if there are still problems, do send us a diagnostic report so we can address this issue immediately
