Hi lelask!
Yes, just like playback presets, there is also what we call "game presets" in LR.
We don't have an article for this yet, so kindly refer to these steps:
1. Open LR and go to the Play Courses or Play & Edit screen
2. Click on the cog button beside the Game button (see 'lr-v3_game-preset-01.jpg')
3. In the Game Mode Settings window, select the game preset you want to edit from the left-hand panel or click on the NEW button to create a new preset
4. On the right side are two tabs - "Game" and "Audio." You can change the slide options in the "Game" tab (see 'lr-v3_game-preset-02.jpg'):
> "Show" - refers to which type of slide will appear for each question in the game (either "Pictures" or "Words")
> "After correct answer, show" - refers to the slide that appears once the correct answer is selected. You have the option to show only the word or picture, the picture and word (in one slide), or choose "nothing" to simply proceed to the next question
5. When you're done with your changes, click on SAVE, close the Game Mode Settings window, then play your game!
In case you want to switch to a different game preset, open the Game Mode Settings window again and just double-click on the preset you want to use for your next game. The selected preset is the one marked with a green check icon in the left-hand panel of the window.
By the way, LR v3 comes with two game presets - a picture game and a word game. Both presets are set with an "Auto" number of choices - with "Auto," there are 2 options to choose from the first time a word appears in the game, and whenever the correct answer is selected the number of choices will increase when the same word appears in the game.
If you want to always show a specific number of choices in your game, you may edit the existing preset or just create a new one with your preferred settings.
